Cheddar Crab Dip


CRAB AND CHEDDAR SOUP

Mix packet with 1 cup water, 1 cup clam broth, and 1 cup of chicken stock. Bring to simmer adding 1 cup of cream aand 1 1/2 to 2 cups cleaned crabmeat. Simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/3 cup white wine. Garnish with parsley and enjoy! 

 
CRAB IMPERIAL

Mix packet with 1 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup mayo. Dice 1/2 cup scallions, 1/2 cup red bell pepper, 1/2 cup green bell pepper, and saute in 2 tablespoons of butter for 3-4 minutes. Add 1 1/2 cups cleaned crab meat and 2 tablespoons of sherry to pan an saute an additional 2-3 minutes. Stir your crab and veggies into your sour cream and mayo mixture, place in baking dish and cover evenly with some of your favorite fresh grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

 
FOR USE AS A DIP

Mix contents of packet with 1 pint of sour cream and 2 tbsp. mayo. For a traditional style dip use 1 pint of sour cream. Great dip for crab claws!
